Is it correct to love the one you cant' get?

by AMRITANSHA
(FARIDABAD, HARYANA, INDIA)

I have a question for people out there that say: "is it fair to love someone who you can never get and at the cost of your career????

I am going through a very bad phase in my life. I am a 19 year old college girl, seriously in love with a guy who is 2 years seniour to me. I expressed my feelings to him and he said no. We are good friends. He told me to move ahead in my life but I'm not able to move on inspite of making several attempts. I feel totally irritated when some other guy tries to approach me. I'm doing extremely bad in my academics. I don't believe I have flunked in one of my semester paper.

I am just spoiling myself for nothing. I know this fact very well but I am totally helpless. So I finally decided to get help from professional counsellers. Just wish me luck and pray to God to give me strenght so that I can decide something good for myself and get out of this fuss......!!!!!

Last piece of advice four of my friends gave me: "do everything in life but never love because incomplete love stories bring only disaster.... and at the end you turn out to be an emotional fool...." So before having feelings for anyone make sure that you will get the right person, otherwise you will also land up writing stories like me on one or the other sites..!!!!!!

I want to thank the web site for giving me a place to share my feelings... thank you...
